Hindu started to play the keys on this track and his dad happened to be at this session. His dad says "This sounds like 1 Corinthians 13." At that point I'm dumbfounded because I'm thinking "how does this sound like anything yet? Hindu's just playing some chords." But I went with it anyway. Its cool sometimes when you have other people in on a session who are excited about what you're doing and giving input. We pull the bible out and start reading through that book and chapter aloud and Hindu's dad is already like "it sounds like you're rapping." Everything was just so weird how this song came about. I just kinda wrote my verse around the scriptures. Its one of the most organic songs I've ever done.
