I don't know what made me sit down and write these lyrics one day, but I felt like telling this story. I sat down with the bible and made sure that I was getting everything right. I had my notebook with me on one of my sessions with Hindu and I tried these rhymes out on it and it fit. The music sounds somber to me but I think that it provides the perfect climate for the subject matter. Many times, I have thought about completing this song by giving it hook, but in my opinion, letting the music play allows you to think about what you just heard before the next verse comes.
